About us

In Search of Shalom is a cooperative project of Jewish and Gentile believers in Jesus. Our goal is to assure anyone willing to consider His claims that real peace is indeed possible. We seek to dialogue with all earnest seekers of peace.

Our “In Search of Shalom” name represents the striving for peace humanity has sought ever since being sent away from the Garden of Eden. Shalom (peace) would seem to be an elusive, if not impossible, goal. Just when we think it’s within our grasp, life changes and it flees from us.

We, however, are convinced that the God of Israel and the world intends for us to have true inner peace despite the turmoil of the world around us and wants to give us. He also wants to give us a share in the ultimate future of complete and cosmic shalom.

Most importantly, we believe He provides a means for us to have that peace. This site allows you to hear the stories of people who were ” in search of shalom” and found it. We also try to make the connection between their stories, Yeshua (Jesus) the promised Messiah of Israel, and the Tanakh.
